January is National Hot Tea Month, so we decided to take a peek at who’s sharing and celebrating on Instagram with #HotTeaMonth.
@kaoru_at_chachatea asks, “How are you celebrating?”
@theteashoppewv is promoting some of the ways tea drinkers can celebrate, such as trying a new tea flavor, sharing a cup of tea with a friend, learning about the history and process of tea, or even baking and cooking with a favorite tea.
@madamedelamaison reminds us that a warm, cozy tea – served with beautiful teaware, can add joy into anyone’s morning routine or afternoon break.
@victoriamagazine says, “Even in the chilly months, peaceful moments of respite can be enjoyed basking in the winter's soft glow. Of course, a warming cuppa and a beloved book invite an extra dose of charm to any setting.”
@lateasommelier suggests an afternoon tea break with an orange petit four, strawberries and “a beautiful, velvety, Hong Cha from @wudongtea”
The Tea & Herbal Association of Canada is conducting a special #HotTeaMonth contest. Details are available at their Instagram, @canadatea, and the deadline to enter is Jan. 31, 2023.
@pihhealth, a healthcare organization, is promoting the health benefits of tea during #HotTeaMonth.
Even dentists celebrate National Hot Tea Month, as some did last year! But, they’re offering caution about staining teeth. “Both coffee and tea cause stains on your teeth, but tea has more acid and tannins, which result in more discoloration,” says @eastparkdental. While @lakebaldwindental says there are oral health benefits of tea, in addition to pitfalls.
