The Jasmine Pearl Announces Business Rebranding

Partnering with a local design firm, the company has unveiled new branding, packaging, and logos

The Jasmine PearlPORTLAND, OR – March 5, 2014 – After almost 10 years in business, The Jasmine Pearl Tea Company has undergone a complete brand uplift. The company collaborated with the design team at Portland-based Relevant Studios to create a new branding for the business that reflects not only The Jasmine Pearl’s updated aesthetic, but also the feeling the tea company wants to evoke in its customers. “It was time to refresh our brand’s look. “ Co-founder Heather Agosta explains, “We wanted our packaging to reflect the high level of quality of our teas. Once we were clear on that goal, everything came together beautifully with the redesign. We are very happy with the results.” The Jasmine Pearl’s new look is simplified and has a classic, fine foods merchant quality. New retail labels for both its bulk loose leaf packaging and eco-canisters have a refreshed color palette, with each tea category (black, green, etc.) represented by a different color. The company’s logo has also been completely redesigned, as well as a branded mark featuring The Jasmine Pearl’s initials. While the look of the brand has changed, the consistent quality of the teas and products The The Jasmine PearlJasmine Pearl offers has remained the same. Its eco-canisters, often found on grocery shelves, are still composed of recycled paper bodies, recyclable lids and compostable inner bags manufactured in Portland. Later this year the company also plans to launch an updated and rebranded website. Since 2004, The Jasmine Pearl Tea Company has been known for its commitment to providing exceptional quality loose leaf teas and friendly, informative customer service. Its range of products includes single estate teas, unique tea blends, herbal tisanes, and functional teaware. Small batch processing allows The Jasmine Pearl to maintain high standards of quality and provides the flexibility needed to offer custom tea blending to its wholesale clients.
