The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Offer Support at Home

Support at Home Now until August 11th, customers of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® can choose to honor U.S. service members and their families by purchasing the limited edition Support at Home coffee and tea collections. The 50-year-old Southern Californian specialty coffee and tea retailer has renewed their partnership with Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization that provides emergency financial assistance and other support to families of service members and wounded warriors, to give back through the sales of the exclusive Support at Home specialty coffee and tea.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® will donate $1 from every sale of its limited edition:

  • Support at Home ground coffee, a dark and distinctive blend that combines Sumatra and Brazil coffee beans for a bold, yet smooth flavor. A medium body, fruity aroma, black cherry flavor and a dark chocolate finish pair well with chocolate or caramel. The 12-ounce coffee will be available in participating stores and online while supplies last for $9.95.
  • Support at Home tea tin, 100 percent hand-plucked Ceylon black tea leaves sourced from the Bogawantalawa Estate in Sri Lanka. This tea boasts chocolate aromas, hints of sweet peach and deep wood flavors. The 20-count tin will also be available in participating stores and online while supplies last for $8.95.

Customers can also donate Support at Home coffee and tea directly to military families at purchase. Each package features a blank label for patrons to write a heartfelt message to the recipient.

"We're always excited to kick-off our Support at Home program with the help of our loyal customers and Operation Homefront, whose generosity has made this campaign a success over the past several years," said Mel Elias, President and CEO of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®. "We hope donations from coffee and tea purchases bring our military families comfort in knowing we're humbled by their dedication and service to our country."

The collaboration between The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® and Operation Homefront has helped U.S. military members and their families for two years. "We appreciate the renewed commitment from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® to support military families through Operation Homefront," said Jim Knotts, President and CEO of Operation Homefront. "We've found that many Americans want to show their appreciation for military families, but don't always know how. Support at Home coffee and tea will help us provide assistance directly to service members and their families."
