The matcha trend is carrying into the new year as Tea Forte introduces its new Ceremonial Bowl Set and Matcha Single Steeps. The matcha is shade grown and harvested in the spring. “The launch of Tea Forte’s Matcha collection represents our continued commitment to wellness and cultivating all the potential mental and physical health benefits of tea,” Tea Forté CEO Michael Gebrael said via a company press release. “In addition to our high-quality, pure matcha, we’ve also blended four distinct flavored matcha varieties. Prepackaged for single servings, our Single Steeps Matcha is ideal for the office, travel or to keep with you for a boost anytime.” The Ceremonial Bowl Set is comprised of a traditional chanoyu ceremonial tea bowl, a ladel for measuring and a bamboo whisk. The Matcha Single Steeps are available in five flavors: Pure Matcha, Chocolate Matcha, Coconut Matcha, Ginger Matcha and Chai Matcha. Also new, Tea Forte’s Chakra Collection showcases a line of organic spiced chai blends. “Tea Forte’s first collection of all-chai teas, our Chakra Collection was designed with the ritual tea drinker in mind,” Gebrael said in a company press release. “Chai has the unique effect of being simultaneously energizing and grounding, which makes it an ideal tea for focused wellness practices such as yoga, barre and Pilates.” The Chakra Collection contains five chai blends:
- Mate Mantra Chai: Includes hints of cocoa and spice.
- Vanilla Veda Chai: A blend of classic spices and vanilla.
- Ginger Guru Chai: Contains ginger and tastes sweet, fruity and spicy.
- Rooibus Raja Chai: A caffeine-free red chai with apple and pink pepper.
- Turmeric Tantra Chai: A blend of Indian spices and licorice.
