Harney & Sons Launches Bottled Teas

Hudson, New York-based luxury tea company Harney & Sons now offers three of its well-liked loose leaf tea flavors from its Harney Tea (HT) collection in ready-to-drink bottled format. Now, Hot Cinnamon Spice, Blood Orange and Matcha iri Genmaicha can be enjoyed in convenient grab-and-go bottles. “We are thrilled to welcome some flavors from our signature HT collection to the Harney & Sons bottle lineup,” said Paul Harney, vice president of Harney & Sons via a company press release. “We chose three of our favorite flavors that we knew would shine even without sugar for the HT bottle launch.” Harney & Sons is tapping into the bottled tea trend. “It is exciting to bring new life to this classic collection of flavors by reintroducing them in bottles,” said Emeric Harney, marketing manager at Harney & Sons.      

John Daly’s Hard Tea Goes Canned

Professional golfer John Daly partnered with Phusion Projects to create a line of beverages consisting of black tea, lemonade and alcohol, announced a press release. John Daly’s Grip it & Sip it line comes in 16-ounce cans and contains 8 percent alcohol by volume. John Daly said, “It was time to bring legitimacy to the John Daly cocktail. I wanted it to be an accurate representation of who I am. Phusion embodies the carefree and fun attitude that I do, so we got it right with this new line of John Daly’s.” The demand for tea-lemonade blends and hard tea has undergone double digit growth in the past year, according to the press release. The line of hard teas is available across the U.S.    

Zola Offers Hydrating Energy

Zola introduced its line of Organic Hydrating Energy Drinks nationwide in July. The collection’s four flavors are: Matcha Green Tea, Acai Berry, Dragon Fruit and Pineapple Coconut. Providing both hydration and energy, the drinks are made with a base of sparkling coconut water with green coffee beans as the source of caffeine. All of the drinks are USDA certified organic. This line is meant to appeal to the growing customer base that wants a healthier energy drink. The line is being sold in 1,800 stores nationwide. Save
