11 New Teas That Debuted at the Winter Fancy Food Show 2018

One of the most widely consumed beverages in the world, tea was strongly represented at the Winter Fancy Food Show held in San Francisco last month. Verdant matcha, a darling of the specialty food world over the past few years, was still a strong ingredient blended in beverages and foods alike. Also of note, tea mustn’t solely be consumed through steeping. The most innovative new brands presented novel tea delivery formats such as “tea sprinkles” made from tea and herbal add-ins ground so fine that it dissolves in your cup. These top new products represent how tea has shifted from a morning wake-me-up beverage to a gourmet ingredient across categories.
