The Tea Tycoons competition and awards program is back again at the World Tea Conference + Expo after a highly successful live competition last year! Attend the event and watch the competitors battle it out live on stage.

Tea Tycoons allows new businesses to “pitch” their business concept to a panel of experts for pride and prize. It’s like Shark Tank for the tea world, and it’s an opportunity for the participants to receive the ultimate in marketing exposure.

Contestants will compete for the top prize in three key award categories – Camellia Sinensis Focused Company, Sustainability and Innovation.

4. Kevin Gascoyne’s Rarest Tea Tasting

Kevin Gascoyne of Camellia Sinensis will return for another memorable "Rarest Tea Tasting" session at the World Tea Conference + Expo, where attendees can sample some of the finest – and rarest – teas in a room transformed with soft lighting and soothing music.

Note that this is an add-on ticket opportunity with limited availability (this session will definitely sell out, so please book your conference registration soon, along with this add-on session).

5. The RiRa Tea Experience

The RiRa Tea Experience will merge fine tea and food pairings at an authentic Irish pub – the Rí Rá Irish Pub in Las Vegas – and it’s guaranteed to be an afternoon to remember.

Participants will join Henrietta Lovell, famously known as the “Tea Lady” with her company, Rare Tea Company, and Richard Hart, a passionate and well-known chef and baker with Hart Bageri, on this exciting tea journey. Lovell and Hart will meld their backgrounds of fine dining and tea into a lively activity and tasting.

Note that the event will take place off-site at the RiRa Irish Pub at Mandalay Place (transportation will be provided from the Las Vegas Convention Center). The experience is an add-on ticket and participants will be limited so register to attend the World Tea Conference + Expo and add-on this exciting event!

6. The Boba Boot Camp Experience

Stacey Kwong of MILK+T and Thomas Liu Loose Leaf Boba Company created this immersive boot-camp experience, which will detail the ins and outs of the boba industry and its cultural significance.

Whether you’re new to boba or you're someone interested in opening your very own shop, Kwong and Liu will walk you through their story of beating the odds, surviving a pandemic and coming out on top of the boba tea community. From menu development to building a healthy team and workplace, hear first-hand how they opened their combined 12 stores nationwide and counting.

This experience is included with the Tea Guru Pass or Conference Pass for the World Tea Conference + Expo.

Attendees may also continue their boba journey at the event’s Boba Pavilion. Sample Boba beverages and learn how this segment is driving new business growth and creating customer loyalty from a huge set of new consumers.The Boba Pavilion will be located in the expo hall.

7. The Tea Bar

The Tea Bar at the World Tea Conference + Expo will highlight the latest specialty teas and infusions from around the world, as well as innovation with tea cocktails and mocktails.
