Tell our readers more about your company

Alkbous Group is a leading business in the beverage and foodstuff sectors in the MENA region. Alkbous Group operates tea, coffee, and food processing facilities across Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Egypt, and we are currently expanding our milling and grain handling operations.

Why are you exhibiting at World Tea Expo?

We’re there to showcase the quality and heritage behind our teas, to introduce buyers to our black and green tea ranges, and to demonstrate our advanced packaging capabilities. It’s also about expanding partnerships, entering new markets, and strengthening our global footprint.

What do you hope to gain from the Expo?

We hope to build strong distribution partnerships in new markets, especially with importers, retailers, and private label buyers looking for reliable, high-quality tea suppliers. Expanding brand visibility in key international markets is a major objective.

What challenges do you see members of the tea industry facing in 2026, and how can your product/service help them overcome these obstacles?

Consumer behavior is evolving fast. Health-conscious buyers want clean labels and functional benefits. Younger audiences are drawn to sustainability, convenience, and premium storytelling. Standing still is not a strategy.

What trends are you seeing in the tea industry?

Well-being is a major driver. Tea is seen not just as a comfort drink but as part of a health-oriented lifestyle. Herbal blends, functional teas with added botanicals, and beverages marketed for relaxation or energy are seeing higher demand.
