Wize Tea paired up with Vancouver-based artist and muralist Chairman Ting to create a limited edition design of their new, ready-to-drink sparkling iced tea cans.
The designs on the cans feature Ting’s creations, called Billion Buns, a collection of unique and creative characters from planet Bananas. Each design is an NFT, and Wize will feature two new NFTs on the cans that will be given away through a QR code sweepstakes.
To keep things exclusive, Wize Tea made just 150 cases in total and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
“Chairman Ting is a premiere artist who loves our refreshments, so when he approached us to do a collab with his NFT project, we jumped at the chance,” said Wize Tea CEO Max Rivest.
Wize Tea makes the world’s only coffee-leaf based RTD iced teas, and they come in a variety of flavors – Lemon, Grapefruit, Mango and Sparkling Mango.
The brand’s coffee-leaf teas are an infusion from arabica coffee leaves, with no bitterness or tannins, while also having high antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.
Each RTD tea has just four grams of real cane sugar and a light, energizing lift of caffeine. Wize Tea noted that four grams is 90 percent less sugar than traditional iced teas on the market, so it makes for a much healthier, lower-sugar choice than your average soda, iced coffees or even some kombuchas.
