- 2 Ounces of bourbon
- 1 Teaspoon of sugar
- 3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
- 1 Garnish: orange wedge

- Step One: Place sugar in an highball or rocks glass.
- Step Two: Add bitters to the glass.
- Step Three: (optional) Add splash of water to help dissolve sugar.
- Step Four: Using muddler, muddle sugar and bitters together until sugar is fully dissolved.
- Step Five: Fill glass with ice cubes.
- Step Six: Pour bourbon over ice and gently stir.
- Step Seven: Rub orange peel around rim of glass, twist peel to unlock additional aroma and garnish with twist.
