Torrance, California-based Health-Ade Kombucha has launched sixnew flavors, all of which are certified organic, Non-gmo, gluten-free, vegan,raw and kosher, reports a company pressrelease.

The refreshing new flavors are:

  • Cherry Berry, which is made with cherries,elderberries and hibiscus;
  • Grapefruit, which brewed with pink grapefruitand blood orange;
  • Tropical Punch, which has a traditional punchflavor with an added tropical twist;
  • Passionfruit-Tangerine contains fruits from Peruand the United States;
  • Strawberry-Lemonade tastes how it sounds—a blendof kombucha and strawberry lemonade;
  • Peach-Mango tastes like a fresh, juicy peachwith the added touch of sweetness from mango.

"Developing new flavors is not only an integral part ofthe Health-Ade business model, but it's one of my favorite processes,"said Daina Trout, CEO and Co-Founder of Health-Ade, who is the final tastetester of any new Health-Ade product. "We found ourselves with anopportunity to bolster our flavor variety; sourcing inspiration from colors, weset out to recreate popular notes seen in other beverage categories, that haveyet to be fermented and turned into kombucha. Our primary goal is to makethings that taste great and make you feel great above all else--that's theHealth-Ade difference." 

The company is also introducing various sizing and packagingoptions, such as the 8 ounce 4 packs of Pink Lady, Ginger Lemon, andPomegranate, which will be on Whole Foods Market’s shelves beginning in May.

Austin, Texas-based craft kombucha brewing company Greenbelt Kombuchaexpanded into grocery stores at the end of March.

Greenbelt Kombucha can now be found in the refrigeratedsection of more than 130 H-E-B supermarkets in Texas, as well as neighborhoodmarkets like Four Five and Quickie Pickie, reports Austin360.

The kombuchas incorporate different types of herbal tisanes,such as rooibos and yerba mate.

Customers can choose from among four creative kombucha tea blends:

  • Hibiscus Berry Black Tea,
  • Strawberry Fields Rooibos Tea,
  • Blood Orange Yerba Mate, and
  • Peach Blossom White Tea.

The company’s founders, Adam Blumenshein, Tim Klatt, NathanKlatt and Rick Boucard of Barrel Creek Provisions and Texas Sake Company andGavin Booth of Couple in the Kitchen set out to make canned kombuchas thatwould be less sweet and less vinegary-tasting than some others on the market. Each12-ounce can of kombucha has about 40 calories and no added fruit juice.

The company is proud to employ wind energy to support itsbrewing practices.

Those who like Revive Kombucha will now beable to purchase three of its unique flavors—Ginger Lime, Hibiscus Refresher,and Original Cola—at 7-Eleven stores across the United States.

The Petaluma, California-based kombucha company authorizedits distribution to up to 8,000 7-Eleven outlets nationwide.

"7-Eleven is proud to be the first convenience store totake Revive national to our 8,000 U.S. Stores. This will make kombucha moreaccessible for our on-the-go customers, who range from Gen Z to Young Boomers,that are seeking better-for-you beverage alternatives," said ChrisStewart, Senior Category Manager, 7-Eleven via pressrelease. "Currently, 54% of Americans live within 1 mile of a7-Eleven store.
