Unusually strong winds killed seven in a tea garden Monday and left dozens were injured.
The wind bursts, estimated at 55 mph toppled sheds in a tea plantation in eastern China’s Zhejiang province around 10 p.m., according to a statement issued by the county government in Heping township.
Four people were pronounced dead at the scene, three later died in hospital and more than 20 sustained injuries.
