As part of its ongoing growth and expansion strategy, Murchie’s Tea & Coffee has announced that it has opened its sixth retail store in the heart of the vibrant South Granville shopping district in Vancouver, British Colombia.
In 2008, the beloved local tea icon was facing bankruptcy. Recently, however, Murchie’s has fortified their business model to thrive and expand.
“This will be the first of many store openings we have planned for the near future” says Grant Kuebler, Managing Director of Murchie’s Tea and Coffee (2007) Ltd. “We’re proud of the support we’ve received from our loyal customers that has allowed Murchie’s to regain its position within the marketplace and will continue our commitment to put quality and customer service first.”
Murchie’s Tea & Coffee is locally renowned for serving the best quality tea and coffee the industry has to offer. In the newest retail location, Murchie’s will continue this tradition with the new banner, Murchie’s Fine Tea which focuses on providing only the finest tea – both loose and packaged in tea bags.
Murchie’s has built upon their trademark traditional blends and added new products like herbal infusions to complement their wide assortment of single origin teas. From the highest quality tea, to knowledgeable, friendly and informed staff, Murchie’s goal is to provide the best tea experience to their customers.
Hosting an array of fine china and accessories as well as coffee, gift baskets, preserves and biscotti, Murchie’s new store location aims to accommodate all customers.
