The Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association has elected a slate of officers and board members headed by Kirsten Kristensen of Tea 4U.
Marcella Farina of The Tea and Hat Lady was elected vice president; Lora Andrews of Gypsy’s Tea Room is treasurer and Darlene Meyers-Perry of the Tea Enthusiasts Scrapbook is secretary and membership director. Gail Gastelu of The Tea House Times is chief information officer, press liaison and will chair the Advertising/Promotions Committee.
MATBA was founded in 2005. A list of founding members and new board members are available at http://www.matba.org The Board arranges quarterly business meetings and offers education and networking, membership drives/meet-ups, expertise and support to member businesses. These efforts facilitate the Association's mission to advance the knowledge of tea.
Full Membership privileges and website access are awarded to members inside the Mid-Atlantic region states including Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The Mid-Atlantic Tea Business Association invites all tea businesses within the Mid-Atlantic Region to register at the website to become In-Region business members with voting privileges. Firms outside the Mid-Atlantic Region may join as Out-of-Region members. Membership levels and benefits may be viewed at www.matba.org.
Vendors that purchase paid sponsorships are listed on the website and may offer special discounts to members.
