CHICAGO, Ill.
Chicago-based Argo Tea Cafe opened its fifth New York City location in a little over a year this week.
The chain operates 20 locations and serves all-natural, tea-based beverages, pastries and Fair Trade coffee as well as 30 varieties of loose leaf tea. It was founded in 2003. The new Chelsea store on 7th Ave. joins stores in the Flatiron Building, Columbus Circle, Union Square and the Langone Medical Center.
Argo, founded in 2003, offers a signature drink menu that includes Maté Laté™ with earthy maté, almond and milk, Green Tea Ginger Twist® with Japanese green tea and ginger root, MojiTea® with cool mint tea and lime juice as well as many others. The food menu features a wide assortment of freshly baked gourmet pastries, French quiches, and SpecialTea Foods made with tea-infused ingredients such Teanie Panini,
