Speaking to an audience at InterBev 2008 conference and

beverage consumption.”
According to Hall, the region was responsible for 38
percent of all global beverage consumption, a rise of 6 percentage points since
2001. North America, meanwhile, is responsible
for 14 percent, down 2 percent from 2001.
