Chamomile Tea's Benefits for Diabetics Proven Print E-mail
Saturday, 20 September 2008
A report in the August issue of the Journal of Agricultural Food Chemistry indicates chamomile tea can benefit diabetics.

The report, received for peer review in May, resulted from tests conducted at the Department of Hospital Pharmacy, University of Toyama (Japan), and the Institute of Grassland and Environmental Research, Ceredigion, U.K. According to an abstract, the results “clearly suggested that daily consumption of chamomile tea with meals could contribute to the prevention of the progress of hyperglycemia and diabetic complications.”
