by WTN Staff Brendan Waye, aka the Tea Guy, has finally seen a half-year's work come to fruition, in the form of a series of online tea training videos. The Vancouver-based tea consultant began work on the videos last fall. Waye said his target audience was restaurant and cafe managers and staff, and his goal was to help move the food and beverage industry toward using more loose-leaf tea by providing a higher quality of training video than is currently available online. "It was an incredible amount of work, but I think I accomplished my goal of delivering the best tea knowledge I could in a format that managers and supervisors could use and show to their new hires," Waye said. The nine-installment project is posted on YouTube. A search for "brendantheteaguy" will bring up the entire series.
