Gubins Becomes Tea Expert for Foodie Web Site Print E-mail
Friday, 29 January 2010

Nora Gubins, who was recently one of the first graduates of the Canadian Tea Sommelier certification program, has landed a new gig.

This week, Gubins posted her first entry as tea expert for the Web site Gremolata.com.

The member-based Web site, published by James Geneau, states its mission as providing "a virtual space for all players in the 'good food revolution' including farmers, food artisans, chefs and 'foodies' to connect and share."

Gubins will be posting regular columns on the place of tea in this "revolution." She told WTN that she finds the real significance of the news to be that "tea is now staking its claim in the Internet gourmet beverage world and with the foodie set.

"Many people are so into food that it's not enough to plan restaurant excursions like grand travels," she added. "They need an inbox e-mail hit too."
