Dallas-based Village Tea Company, having just launched its wholesale business this spring, is opening its first tea room this summer.

Since May, Village Tea Company has been retailing its teas online and offering them wholesale to the tea industry. Now, it's opening a tea house in Dallas' Preston Village.

According to an announcement, the tea house "showcases an urban zen space dedicated to those looking for the everyday escape and a premium tea brew." The location will include a children's area called the Little Village, where 3- to 10-year-old kids can enjoy "quiet entertainment" by local authors of children's books, scheduled at times throughout the day.
