Andao Chirps for Chinese New Year Print E-mail

New York-based wholesaler Andao Tea is holding a contest and tea giveaway in honor of the Chinese New Year tomorrow, but don't expect to register in the usual ways.

This contest is being conducted via the social media network Twitter. Contestants will follow @AndaoTea on Twitter from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27. During that time, Andao will tweet quiz questions about the Chinese tea drinking tradition, and the first people to tweet back answers will win samples of the company's tea and other prizes.

No purchase is required, and signing up for Twitter is free.

It was great fun! Winning the oolong made my day. Creative way to interact with the tea world.
