Phoenix-based Souvia Tea is giving patrons a reason to stop by over the holiday weekend – other than the selection of 120 premium, loose-leaf teas.
This Friday, Nov. 28 (so-called "black Friday"), from 1 to 3 p.m., Souvia customers who buy $25 worth of merchandise or more can get a complimentary chair massage by the Backrub Company, which will have massage stations set up at Souvia's Phoenix and Scottsdale locations. Shoppers not spending $25 can still get a massage for a feel. Kerstin Wingert, founder and president of Souvia, said the offer was in line with the company's mission of teaching people to slow down and enjoy life. "We thought it would be great to offer a break to those already stressed out by the holidays or the economy," she added, in a statement.
