The 2,500 square foot facility is at 475 High Street. An elated Marshall Malone, president of the company, said, "It was a very good opening – especially since we didn't really tell anyone that we were opening doors on Monday, other than a small word-of-mouth campaign." With all eyes on the Nov. 4 U.S. election, the day after Portmouth's opening, WTN wondered whether Malone had planned any events in conjunction with the presidential race. "We are sending all our employees to vote," he said, adding that the staff was too exhausted from the move to do much else for now. In addition to Portsmouth's 100-plus teas, the cafe will also offer coffee.
