Tea Auction Las Vegas Style at World Tea Expo - March 2006

In conjunction with the 2006 World Tea Expo being held March 27-29 at the Las Vegas Hilton, a modern version of a traditional tea auction will occur featuring Nilgiri tea from India. A diversity of black, green, organic, white and other types will be part of this auction event. Potential buyers will get a chance to see and cup the teas prior to the auction.


‘Shakespeare In Love’ with Tea

Weekdays at the University of Michigan’s Clements Library a 10:00 am mandatory daily tea break unites staff and visitors for a short respite that brings everyone together for conversation and refreshment. The library serves no coffee on the breaks and all newcomers are encouraged to stop reading and enjoy a few minutes of tea time.


Classic James Finlay Limited Acquired by Bangladesh Buyers

The century old gardens and related holdings of James Finlay Limited have been acquired by local buyers in Bangladesh. The move is a sizeable one for local entrepreneurs who purchased 17 tea gardens under the agreement.
